I had the exact same problem. Then, my phone displayed a message: "We need to check files from a third party, and the files will be deleted immediately after the check." I'm not sure what is going on.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating issue with Instagram Reels, where your phone freezes and restarts after a few minutes. This issue could be related to a number of factors, such as app bugs, system instability, or even a conflict between the app and recent updates.
Here’s what you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Update Instagram:
Ensure that Instagram is updated to the latest version available in the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store. App updates often fix bugs and improve stability.
2. Clear Cache and Data for Instagram:
Go to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Restart your phone and see if the issue persists.
3. Update Your Phone’s Software:
Check if there are any pending system updates for your phone. Sometimes, recent updates can introduce bugs, but newer patches may fix them. Go to Settings > Software Update to check for updates.
4. Check Background Apps:
Other apps running in the background might cause the system to freeze. Close unnecessary apps before using Instagram to reduce system load.
5. Reboot the Phone in Safe Mode:
Reboot your phone in Safe Mode (by holding down the power button and selecting “Safe Mode” after the Samsung logo appears). This will disable third-party apps temporarily, helping you see if the problem is caused by any apps you installed.
If Instagram works fine in Safe Mode, then a third-party app might be causing the issue.
6. Reinstall Instagram:
If clearing the cache didn’t help, you can try uninstalling Instagram and reinstalling it from the Play Store. This will ensure a fresh installation of the app.
Is everyone facing this issue?
You’re not the only one experiencing this! Many users, especially after One UI 7 and recent Instagram updates, have reported similar issues with freezing or restarts while using Instagram, particularly when watching Reels.
Instagram's developers are likely aware of the problem, and it’s possible that a future app or system update may address this bug.
If the issue persists despite trying the above steps, I’d recommend reporting the problem directly through the Samsung Members app or Instagram’s help section so it can be prioritized.
