After I updated my phone to OneUI 7.0, I was expecting some enhancements. But no there are no enhancements, instead it is downgraded then OneUI 6.1.
1. There are so many glitches and bugs.
2. The old notification panel was way easier then this ig they put extra unwanted animations.
3. The Mark as read options in notification panel is not working properly
4. They also removed image previews of any app notification
For example:- If you use Pinterest, then you might know that Pinterest always share some temporary created album that you can open and do whatever you want. So we could actually check from the notification panel only about which type of images they selected for us by just swiping and opening the notification fully.
4. My ram is being taken up more even when I mostly put every unused social or any other apps in deep sleep still I cannot clear so much of ram.
5. Battery health was already not so great (Have to charge my phone to 95 or 100% 2 times in a day), they degraded it more
6. Old Camera layout was good.
7. Fingerprint unlocking is more slower then OneUI 6.1
8. They removed Perf Z
Except that, there are major good improvements that samsung did and we can definitely expect it from them!
Specially the Nowbar which is actually very usefull and the new Galaxy Sound and more glassy appearance.
They actually released the OneUI 7.0 update earlier from the official date which for my phone was in June 2025 as per Samsung's official community post. That's where the problem occurred ig little test and fix was left.
Overall good job! Samsung, Thanks for the update!
